International Ministries

Peru
God has granted us the honor and privilege of participating in a special work.  Our church has entered into a sister church relationship with the Presbyterian Church in the village of Gallito, Peru.  Our relationship with the Church in Gallito was started in the fall of 2006 and we are looking forward to growing our relationship and ministry with our fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.  With our partners in mission, the Presbyterian Church of Peru, Amazon Mission Fellowship, and Medical Missions we are sharing the love of Christ to the people of Gallito, Peru.

The church is located in the small village of Gallito, Peru overlooking the Amazon River.  Gallito is about a 45-minute boat ride up the Amazon River from Iquitos, Peru.  The Pastor of the Presbyterian Church in the village of Gallito, Peru is Edwar Huaman Oroche.

2010-
This summer we will be sending a mission team to Gallito, 25 June - 3 July.  We will be building the Pastor a house at the church, conducting medical clinics, installing water purification systems, and conducting Bible Schools with the children.
2009-
Last summer we sent two missions teams to Gallito:
Week #1: 26 June - 4 July.  The first week consisted of providing medical clinics in Gallito and the surrounding areas and installing water purification systems in the homes in the village.
Week #2: 3 July - 11 July.  The second week consisted of working with the Peruvian congregation in building a Christian Educational Building behind the Church and conducting Bible Schools with the children.

Christmas International House

Our purpose is to provide hospitality to international students during the Christmas holiday. We strive for an exchange of international culture, particularly from the vantage point of West Virginia and modern Christianity culture. We witness to the reality that behind diverse manners of dress, religious affiliations and political ideologies, everyone stands together as one human family.
